Fantastic Mr.Fox
BANG! BANG! BANG! " Run, go quickly children! " Mrs.Fox was covered in dirt and grime, globs of mud stuck onto her fur. She pushed them along with her nose, making them stumble. " Where's father? " one cub asked with an alarmed expression. Mrs. Fox silently pushed the cubs forward, "Move along children, we have no time ". BANG! BANG! " Quickly! " The cubs ran and ran into the darkness of the tunnel, not looking back. They slowed down, panting and gasping for air. "Where's Aiden and mom?" a cub asked. Suddenly fast footsteps came towards them, and appearing from the other side of the tunnel, Mrs.Fox was carrying Aiden by his scruff, limping. "Mother! Aiden!" the three cubs rushed to their side full of relief. " Get some good rest, we must leave before the farmers find us " She curled up in a ball, and closed her eyes. The cubs snuggled against each other and their mother's warm stomach and closed their eyes forgetting their hunger and thirst. Their wake-up alarm was the sound of belching as the three farmers ate the juicy plump turkeys. The sound of their heavy footsteps thundered onto the ground creating the ceiling of the underground tunnel to start collapsing. " Children, wake up " Mrs. Fox whispered. The children groggily got up and followed their mother as she walked further into the tunnel. "Where are we going mother?" the children curiously asked. They stumbled through the tunnel, working hard for their legs to support their weight. The foxes were thin and bony, their ribs shone through their skin. It's been about a week underground without any food or water, they were on the verge of dying, only their willpower keeping them alive. "Just follow me, you will understand soon." Mrs.Fox replied. After walking through the never-ending tunnel, the foxes saw a dead end. "We have to dig in an upwards motion." Mrs.Fox said. They all dug and dug, using up all their remaining energy, until they saw a light. The foxes climbed out of the hole, and looked around them. There were trees and grass, flowers and bees. "Mother!! We'll get caught by the farmers!!" a cub whimpered. "No child, this is far from any human, we can live our lives peacefully here forever" Mrs.Fox smiled happily. -The End-
The BFG
The wind howled and lightnings flashed. The ground shook from each BOOM! that hit, and the rain poured down like a waterfall. "AAAARRRGGGHHH" a hand, the size of a truck smashed onto the rim of the massive pit. The roar of the giants echoed throughout the whole city. The Queen woke up with a loud gasp. She had sweat running down her forehead and the sides of her face. She got changed into the first thing in her closet, and called her butler and maid. She opened the door to get outside to see the commotion, but instead, saw a blood shot eye, the size of the door, blocking the exit. The Queen screamed holding onto the maid for dear life. The butler fell to the ground, his face full of fear. The eye went aback, and was replaced by a hand, then an arm. "W- Why? The pit was surely big enough to keep all the g- giants inside, th- they shouldn't have been able to escape!" the Queen cried in terror. The BFG emerged from the cottage with glowing eyes "You thought that Sophie and I would save humanity? Bahh, humbug!!". The giant from the door grabbed the Queen and gobbled her up. More giants started gathering around the palace, surrounding it, and gulping down anyone who tried to get out. Screams and panic filled the palace, the palace guards fled and the armies were either being gulped down or tossed aside. "NO MORE SNOZZCUMBERS!!!" The giants held their fist in the air. The giants went to different streets and gobbled up humans one-by-one, filling their empty stomachs. They travelled to different lands, to get their favourite human taste that fits to their liking. The human population decreased more and more until the only living human left was Sophie. She sat on the BFG's ear with an evil grin spread across her face. "We've won!! Now, we have this world to ourselves!" her voice boomed throughout the giant country. Nightmares stirred in the air, engulfing the dreams and turning them into worse and bitter nightmares. And that was how the Giant country expanded, and how the Giant Era was formed. -THE END-
